How many jobs drive the circular economy around the world?

In Circular Jobs Bulletin 2022, we share the latest updates on the number and range of jobs we found were driving circular economy strategies last year.

The circular economy is powered by people. Matching skilled people with jobs and opportunities is key to accelerating the circular transition. But to understand and shape the labour market of tomorrow, we need the data and evidence of today. That’s what Circular Jobs Monitor helps with—showing the number, range and location of circular jobs in cities and countries worldwide.

In 2022, we added two new nations to the platform: Switzerland and Northern Ireland. We also returned to Scotland and discovered that the share of circular jobs had increased by 1.6% in just two years.
