Circularity and industrial symbiosis at the European Week of Regions and Cities
Lots of cities and regions are developing circular economy strategies, but they are still facing challenges in their progress towards circularity.
The European Commission’s Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI) and the Hubs4Circularity (H4C) aim to bridge this gap by facilitating collaboration and knowledge sharing.
On 11 October 2023 (16:30-17:30 CEST) in the SQUARE Meeting Centre in Brussels, the CCRI and the H4C will host a session titled Boosting circularity and seeking industrial-urban symbiosis through local-regional collaboration during the European Week of Regions and Cities.
The session, centred around industrial symbiosis and circular value chains, will inform participants about the services they provide to EU cities and regions and present innovative circular solutions, e.g. for enabling urban-industrial symbiosis.
More information about the CCRI is available at the dedicated stand.
